Standard Features
Quigley Standard features include: Ford front drive axle with 4-wheel ABS, tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS), coil spring front suspension, manual lock-out hubs, New Process (Ford) 271, 2 speed transfer case*, 4X4 indicator light, 5-ea. Ford 17" wheels, 5-ea. LT245/70R17E tires, rear wheel adapters, 4-center hub caps, and 31 gallon fuel tank provided with all Econoline Cargo Vans and Club Wagons. Replaced factory 35 gallon tank only on cargo vans and club wagons. All E-350 Cargo Vans and E-350 Club Wagons with LT245/70R17 tires will have the rear axle re-rated from 6084 lbs. to 6000 lbs. due to the weight limitations of the tires. All vehicles built to U.S. standards only.
Note: For 2007 model year and up, do not order vans with Ford factory 16" aluminum wheels, option code 64F, as they will be replaced with 17" Ford steel wheels and not 17" Ford aluminum wheels, unless noted below or ordered as an option from Quigley.

With Ford’s new coil spring axle design, QMCI is required to change wheel size, which in turn requires a tire change. The change is essential for clearance over Ford’s larger brake calipers and rotors. The Quigley 4x4 system requires a special wheel adapter and spare tire rim. This adapter serves a dual purpose. First the bolt patterns are different between Ford’s F-Series and E-Series axle. The F-Series uses a metric threaded stud and bolt pattern whereas the E-Series still uses a standard threaded stud and bolt pattern. The 17" spare tire wheel incorporated by QMCI uses a standard bolt pattern, this way it can mount directly to the rear axle studs. Since it is a Standard bolt pattern it can not mount directly to the front Metric bolt pattern of the front axle, therefore the adapter ensures that the spare tire can be used on the front axle. The second purpose is to assure proper wheel offset on the front axle. The following instructions are for proper installation of the spare tire for the Dual Rear Wheel (DRW) Cut-Away (CAW) chassis.
